This is a showcase site. Reservations and payments are made via external links redirecting to a third-party reservation platform. The present Terms and Conditions apply exclusively to this external platform and not to the hotel’s website.

The general terms and conditions of sale and the special terms and conditions form an integral part of the sales contract and must be accepted in their entirety before any sale is concluded. Reservation requests imply acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale and full and unreserved acceptance of their provisions.

Application

These general terms and conditions of sale apply to sales transactions concluded by Château Hôtel Golf d’Augerville with its private customers.

Capacity

All customers acknowledge that they have the capacity to contract, i.e. that they are of legal age and not under guardianship or trusteeship at the time of booking.

Price

Prices are given in Euros. VAT is always included. The prices indicated include only the services strictly mentioned in the reservation. Any additional services provided by the hotelier during the stay and the tourist tax, excluding exceptions, will be added to the price mentioned in the reservation at the time of invoicing.

Terms of payment

Payment for all services must be made directly to the hotelier during your stay.

Force majeure

The obligations contained herein will not be applicable or will be suspended if their execution has become impossible due to a case of force majeure such as: act of public authority, hostilities, war, natural disaster, fire, flood, strike, pandemic, acts of terrorism….

Each party must inform the other as soon as possible in the event of a force majeure event preventing it from performing all or part of its contractual obligations.

The parties shall use their best efforts to prevent or reduce the effects of non-performance of the contract caused by an event of force majeure; the party wishing to invoke an event of force majeure shall immediately notify the other party of the beginning and end of such event, failing which it shall not be relieved of its liability.

Relocation

In the event of force majeure, exceptional events or technical problems making the customer’s stay impossible, the hotel will make every effort to find alternative accommodation, if possible in a hotel of the same or higher category. Except in cases of force majeure, the hotel will cover the cost of relocation.

Rooms available

Rooms are available from 4pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 12pm on the day of departure. Any overflow will incur additional charges.

Claims

All complaints must be made to the Château Hôtel Golf d’Augerville within 30 days of the end of your stay.

Liability

The company accepts no responsibility for theft, loss or damage to guests’ belongings during their stay.

The Customer will be held responsible for any damage, deterioration or vandalism that may occur as a result of occupying the premises and/or as a result of the participants and/or staff for whom he/she is responsible, to movable, decorative and immovable property belonging or not belonging to the hotel. As a result, the Company has the right to ask the Customer to leave the establishment without any compensation or reimbursement for the stay in progress, and to reimburse any damage caused by such acts.

In the online sales process, the Company is bound only by an obligation of means. It may not be held liable for any damage resulting from the use of the Internet network, such as loss of data, intrusion, viruses, disruption of service, or other involuntary problems.

Information technology and civil liberties

In application of the French law L.78-17 of January 6, 1978, the customer is hereby informed that any personal information provided will be processed electronically, unless he/she expressly objects.

Customers have the right to access, rectify or delete their personal data at any time.

The information requested at the time of booking is essential for the proper processing of your request. The Château hôtel golf spa d’Augerville is the sole recipient of this information.

Applicable law

Any dispute, claim or litigation relating to the booking of a stay or hotel room is subject to French law.

Photos

All photos are non-contractual.

Booking conditions

To guarantee a reservation, customers are asked to provide their credit card number, which is transmitted by secure means.

Payment in full is made directly to the hotelier.

For some bookings, a deposit may be required to guarantee the reservation.

This deposit must be paid directly to the hotel within the time limit specified in the booking request. There are two ways of paying the deposit: either by cheque made payable to the hotel and sent directly to the hotel, or by credit card. In this case, the reservation becomes firm and definitive only on receipt of the deposit by the hotel within the specified time. The balance of the stay must be paid on site at the hotel.

Guests are asked to plan to arrive at the hotel before 11:00 p.m. and to inform the hotel of any late arrival.

Modifying a reservation

Any request to modify a reservation must be made as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours before the stay, subject to refusal by the hotel. The reservation modification is firm and definitive only after receipt of an e-mail confirmation from the hotel.

Requests for changes may be subject to cancellation conditions.

In the event of force majeure or exceptional circumstances, the hotel reserves the right to accommodate customers in a nearby hotel of equivalent category, without any change in rates or compensation.

Cancellation policy

If guaranteed by credit card, for stays of less than 3 nights, cancellation free of charge up to 48 hours before arrival. For stays of more than 3 nights, cancellation free of charge up to 72 hours before arrival. After this time, the first night will be charged.

In the case of a deposit guarantee, regardless of the cancellation period, the deposit is non-refundable.

To cancel a reservation, the customer is invited to contact Le Château Golf Spa d’Augerville either by e-mail (contact@chateau-augerville.com) or by telephone (02 38 32 12 07).

Cancellation of a reservation requested by email will only be effective after the Château Hôtel golf Spa d’Augerville has sent an email to the customer confirming the cancellation.

The date of receipt of the cancellation request (by email, post or telephone) will be the date of cancellation. If the customer does not show up at the hotel, and in the absence of a cancellation, the full amount of the reservation will be charged.

Special conditions applicable to promotional offers

Booking conditions

Special offers and promotional rates are valid exclusively on the www.chateau-augerville.com website, subject to availability of the rooms allocated to each operation.

Offers cannot be combined with any other current promotional offer. All our prices are in Euros. They are subject to change without notice. They do not include tourist tax.

It is hereby expressly stipulated that in the case of promotional offers, the hotel will deduct the total amount of the stay at the time of booking.

In the event of a no-show, the total cost of the stay is retained by the hotel without the customer being entitled to any reimbursement. For stays of 2 nights or more, in the event of a no-show on the first night, the hotelier is no longer obliged to keep the room for the remainder of the stay.

Modifying a reservation

The dates of stay, the length of stay, as well as the characteristics of the stay (type of room, number of people, number of rooms booked, breakfast, etc.) cannot be changed once the reservation has been made.

Cancellation policy

In the event of cancellation, the total amount of the stay remains the property of the hotel without the customer being entitled to any reimbursement.

Mediation

The customer has a mediation channel at his disposal, in the following case: after having referred the matter to the sales department and in the absence of a satisfactory response or in the absence of a response within 60 days, the customer may refer the matter free of charge to the Tourism and Travel Mediator, whose contact details and referral procedures are available on the website: www.mtv.travel.

Cancellation policy – less than 5 rooms – Group

In the event of partial or total cancellation of a confirmed reservation, penalties may be applied under certain conditions:
Up to 10 days before arrival date: no penalty
Between 9 days and 48 hours before arrival date: 50% of the total amount of the reservation
Less than 48 hours before arrival date: 100% of the total amount of the reservation.

Cancellation policy – Groups of more than 5 rooms – Group

In the event of partial or total cancellation of a confirmed reservation, penalties may be applied under certain conditions:
Up to 15 days prior to arrival date: 25% of the total amount of the reservation
Between 14 days and 48 hours prior to arrival date: 50% of the total amount of the reservation
Less than 48 hours prior to arrival date: 100% of the total amount of the reservation.

No Show
All No Shows will be billed in full.

End of contract
Any party failing to comply with the clauses of this contract will be notified by registered mail.
Without confirmation within 30 days, this contract will automatically lapse.

Disputes
The contract and these general terms and conditions are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to the interpretation, performance or breach of this contract and these terms and conditions shall be submitted, failing amicable agreement, to the full and complete jurisdiction of the courts of the location of the Château Hotel Golf Spa d’Augerville.

Mediation
The customer has the option of mediation in the following cases: after having referred the matter to the sales department and in the absence of a satisfactory response or in the absence of a response within 60 days, the customer may refer the matter free of charge to the Tourism and Travel Ombudsman, whose contact details and procedures are available on the website: www.mtv.travel.

ARTICLE 1 : APPLICATION of the General Sales Conditions.

The present General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to services related to the organization of meetings, accommodation and catering provided by the Château d’Augerville.

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are sent to the customer at the same time as the quotation, to enable the customer to make a reservation. Any reservation therefore implies the customer’s full and unreserved acceptance of these conditions, to the exclusion of any other document such as brochures, commercial documents, etc.

In the event of any contradiction between the provisions of the quotation signed by the customer and those of the present G.S.C., the provisions of the quotation shall prevail. in these G.C.S., the provisions of the quotation shall prevail.

ARTICLE 2: RESERVATION

Contract formation

The contract for the provision of services related to the organization of meetings, accommodation and catering is formed and the customer is bound upon receipt by Château d’Augerville of the quotation duly dated and signed by the customer, bearing the customer’s stamp and the words “Bon pour accord” (“Good for agreement”) and a copy of the present document duly initialled.

Reservation guarantee

The duly dated and signed quotation must be accompanied by the deposit referred to in article 9.

In the absence of payment of the deposit, the Château d’Augerville does not guarantee the availability of the reserved spaces/rooms. However, the customer remains bound by the obligations entered into hereunder, in particular with regard to the terms of payment and cancellation conditions referred to in articles 9 and 5 hereof.

ARTICLE 3: RESERVATION ORGANIZATION

ROOMS

Seminar

The customer must send the Château d’Augerville the rooming list in writing (e-mail, fax or post) no later than 21 days before the planned date of arrival. This rooming list is not the basis for invoicing. A reduction in the number of rooms is considered as a partial cancellation of the reservation, giving rise to the application of article 5 of the present conditions. Reserved rooms are made available to guests from 4 p.m. on the day of arrival. Rooms must be vacated by 10 a.m. on the day of departure at the latest; failure to do so may result in the invoicing of an additional night at the posted public rate.

Room rental

The customer must send the Château d’Augerville the rooming list in writing (e-mail, fax or post) no later than 8 days before the planned date of arrival. This rooming list is not the basis for invoicing. A reduction in the number of rooms is considered as a partial cancellation of the reservation, giving rise to the application of article 5 of the present conditions. Reserved rooms are made available to guests from 4 p.m. on the day of arrival. Rooms must be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure at the latest, and a supplement may be charged if this time limit is exceeded.

Banquet/Wedding

The customer must send the Château d’Augerville the rooming list in writing (e-mail, fax or post) no later than 8 days before the planned date of arrival. This rooming list is not the basis for invoicing. A reduction in the number of rooms is considered as a partial cancellation of the reservation, giving rise to the application of article 5 of the present conditions. Reserved rooms are made available to guests from 4 p.m. on the day of arrival. Rooms must be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure at the latest, and a supplement may be charged if this time limit is exceeded.

COUVERTS

Seminar

The customer must specify in writing (e-mail, fax or letter) to the Château d’Augerville the exact number of guests for each meal three working days before the start date of the event (Saturdays and Sundays not included). A reduction in the number of participants is considered as a partial cancellation of the reservation, giving rise to the application of article 5 of the present conditions. Customers must confirm their choice of catering (menu, buffet, cocktail, etc.) no later than 12 working days before the event. Beyond this date, the hotel reserves the right to impose a choice in the category chosen by the customer. It is hereby specified that catering not consumed as part of a package cannot give rise to a reduction in price.

Room rental

AVAILABILITY OF LOUNGE AREAS

The customer must inform the Château d’Augerville of any significant changes in the number of participants at the reception before the date of the event.

In any event, if the number of participants is lower than that specified in the quotation, the customer may be allocated a different space from that initially planned, for reasons inherent in the management of the establishment. This modification of the premises made available shall not entitle the customer to any compensation whatsoever. A reduction in the number of participants is considered as a partial cancellation of the reservation, giving rise to the application of article 5 of the present conditions.

ARTICLE 4: MODIFICATION OF SERVICES

Any request to modify the services in relation to the accepted quote must be addressed to the Château d’Augerville.

In the absence of written acceptance by Château d’Augerville within 8 days of receipt of the request, the contract is deemed to continue under the terms and conditions set out in the contract accepted by the customer.

ARTICLE 5: CANCELLATIONS

As invoicing is based on the services booked, the customer is invited to pay the greatest attention to the following cancellation conditions:
Cancellations, of all or part of the initial reservation, must be addressed to the Château d’Augerville. Changing the date of the event is considered as a total cancellation and will give rise to the application of the cancellation conditions. A reduction in the number of participants or the duration of the event is considered a partial cancellation.

TOTAL CANCELLATION :

In the event of total cancellation of the contract by the customer, and not justified by the non-fulfilment of the hotel’s obligations, a cancellation indemnity will be invoiced and calculated as follows:
– In the event of notification of cancellation received more than 30 days before the first day of the event, the establishment will retain the amount of the deposits paid as indemnity.
– In the event of notification of cancellation received less than 30 days before the first day of the event, the customer will be required to pay the balance of the amount of the service specified in the quotation.

Partial cancellation :

Seminar

In the event of notification of cancellation received more than 120 days before the first day of the event: 10% of the number of rooms per night and/or the total amount of the quote may be cancelled without penalty.
Excluding this 10%, all other cancellations will be invoiced at 40% of the total amount cancelled.

Between 120 days and 61 days before the first day of the event: 10% of the number of rooms per night and/or the number of participants per day and/or the total amount of the quote may be cancelled without penalty. Excluding this 10%, all other cancellations will be invoiced at 65% of the total amount cancelled.

Between 60 days and 31 days before the first day of the event: 5% of the number of rooms per night and/or the number of participants per day and/or the total amount of the quote may be cancelled without penalty. Excluding this 5%, all other cancellations will be invoiced at 80% of the total amount cancelled.

Between 30 days and 15 days before the first day of the event, all cancellations will be invoiced on the basis of 95% of the total amount cancelled. For catering services, the period will be reduced to between 30 days and 4 days before the first day of the event.

Less than 15 days before the first day of the event, all cancellations will be billed at 100% of the total amount cancelled. For catering services, this period will be reduced to less than 72 hours before the first day of the event. No-shows” (rooms not occupied) by participants on the nominative list will be invoiced to the customer on the basis of the total cost of the room and breakfast stay.

Room rental

In the event of cancellation notification received more than 120 days before the first day of the event: 10% of the number of rooms per night and/or the total amount of the quote may be cancelled without penalty. Excluding this 10%, all other cancellations will be invoiced at 40% of the total amount cancelled.

ARTICLE 6: ACCOMMODATION

In the event of force majeure, the Château d’Augerville reserves the right to accommodate participants, in whole or in part, in a nearby hotel for services of the same nature, the costs inherent in the transfer remaining the responsibility of the Château d’Augerville, which cannot be held liable for the payment of any compensation whatsoever.

ARTICLE 7: PRICES

Prices are given in euros.

Rates are valid for a given period during the given option period.

The rates confirmed on the quotation are firm for one month from the date the quotation is sent to the customer.

After this period, they are subject to change and a new estimate will be drawn up by the Château d’Augerville.

Prices may be modified in the event of legislative and/or regulatory changes likely to lead to price variations, such as changes in the applicable VAT rate, introduction of new taxes, etc.

In any case, if the order (number of rooms and/or meals and/or meeting rooms) turns out to be at least 20% lower than the initial estimate, the customer may be charged new rates for the lower services.

ARTICLE 8: OVERTIME

Seminar

The rental period is as follows: Either from 9:00 to 18:00, or from 19:00 to 01:00. Beyond these periods, additional rental charges will be applied on the basis of current rates (€38 incl. VAT per hour and per server). The customer will be billed for staff costs incurred for overtime beyond 2:30 p.m. for a lunch/cocktail and beyond 1:00 a.m. for a dinner/cocktail, based on current rates.

Room rental

The customer will be billed for the cost of overtime at the current rate, i.e. 37 euros (incl. VAT) per hour per service staff member: after 4 p.m. for lunch, after midnight for dinner.

Banquet/Wedding

The customer will be billed for the cost of overtime at the current rate, i.e. 37 euros (incl. VAT) per hour per service staff member: after 4 p.m. for lunch, after midnight for dinner.

ARTICLE 9: PAYMENT TERMS

Seminar

The terms of payment are as follows:

– Orders booked more than one year before the date of the event will be subject to an initial deposit of 70% of the total cost of the event on the day of booking,
– Orders booked less than one year before the date of the event will be subject to an initial deposit of 70% of the total cost of the event on the day of booking.

The amount of these advance payments is deducted from the final invoice (balance), subject to the possible application of cancellation penalties. Unless otherwise stipulated in the contract, balance invoices are payable on receipt. Cash payment of invoices does not entitle the customer to any discount. All payments must be made in Euros.

In the event of disagreement over any part of the invoice, the customer undertakes to pay the undisputed part without delay, and to notify the Château d’Augerville in writing of the reason for the dispute, which must be genuine and serious. The payment of extras (laundry, minibar, telephone, etc.) and other services claimed individually from one or more of the participants, will be ensured by the participants concerned themselves before their departure.

In the absence of payment by one or more participants for services claimed in addition to those included in the quote (extras, meals, etc.), the invoice will be sent to the customer, who undertakes to pay it on receipt.

In the case of individual payment, i.e. payment made by each participant for his/her share, the deposit paid at the time of booking will be returned to the customer within 8 days of receipt by the Château d’Augerville of the total amount due for the event. Any unpaid amounts will be deducted from the deposit, and the balance will be returned to the customer. Room rental

The terms of payment are as follows:

A reserved order will entail payment of a first deposit of 50% of the total amount of the event on the day of reservation, a second deposit of 30% of the same total amount payable 180 days before the start of the event, a third and final deposit of 20% of the same total amount payable 90 days before the start of the event.

The amount of these deposits is deducted from the final invoice (balance), subject to the possible application of cancellation penalties.

Unless otherwise stipulated in the contract, balance invoices are payable on receipt. Cash payment of invoices does not entitle the customer to any discount. All payments must be made in Euros.

In the event of disagreement over any part of the invoice, the customer undertakes to pay the undisputed part without delay, and to notify the Château d’Augerville in writing of the reason for the dispute, which must be genuine and serious. The payment of extras (laundry, minibar, telephone, etc.) and other services claimed individually from one or more of the participants, will be ensured by the participants concerned themselves before their departure.

In the absence of payment by one or more participants for services claimed in addition to those included in the quote (extras, meals, etc.), the invoice will be sent to the customer, who undertakes to pay it on receipt.

ARTICLE 10: PHOTOGRAPHIC COVERAGE

The customer is requested to inform the Château d’Augerville in advance of the possible presence of a photographer and is personally responsible for obtaining all necessary authorizations.

ARTICLE 11: Decoration - tent structure

Seminar

All installations carried out by the customer must comply with the Château d’Augerville’s specifications and the latest safety regulations in force, and must be submitted to the safety commission for prior approval.

Any project for decorating or setting up stands must be submitted to the establishment for approval, and must include 5 copies of the layout, failing which permission to exhibit will be refused.

The customer organizing a trade show (or fair) must provide the Château d’Augerville with the necessary prefectoral authorization for such a commercial event , at least 15 days before the start date of the event. The customer undertakes to restore the occupied premises to their original state, at his own expense.

ARTICLE 12: RECRUITMENT

The French Labor Code (Articles 312-19 and 312-20) prohibits the establishment from directly or indirectly managing or operating an employment agency.

In application of this law, the customer must :

Provide Château d’Augerville with proof that it is in good standing with the local labor inspectorate.

Include your company name on job advertisements.

When the interview or selection of candidates takes place on the premises :

The customer undertakes to declare in writing to Château d’Augerville, together with the accepted quotation and deposit, that he/she satisfies these two conditions.

Under no circumstances may hotel staff take part in recruitment operations, in particular by distributing questionnaires to candidates who come to the hotel reception desk.

ARTICLE 13: COPYRIGHT

The customer is personally responsible for all declarations and payment of all rights, in particular to SACEM, for the broadcasting of musical works and, more generally, for all entertainment on the premises (orchestras, shows, records, etc.).

The customer must justify to the Château d’Augerville, prior to receipt, the declaration made to the SACEM.

ARTICLE 14: TRANSPORT

The Château d’Augerville does not provide any transportation services for participants.

ARTICLE 15: INSURANCE – DAMAGE – BREAKAGE – THEFT

Château d’Augerville cannot be held responsible for damage of any nature whatsoever, in particular fire or theft, which may affect objects or equipment left by the customer or participants at the reception which is the subject of this reservation.

The customer is responsible for the safekeeping of goods and equipment brought in by himself or herself or by participants, in particular the changing rooms, excluding those supervised by the facility’s staff outside the rented areas. The customer shall be responsible for taking out any insurance policy (damage – civil liability) he deems necessary. The customer is in particular invited to take out specific insurance in the event of the presence of large items of equipment or valuable goods, insofar as the Château d’Augerville cannot be held responsible in the event of damage to or theft of said goods.

The customer is responsible for all damage caused by his intermediary (in particular by participants or their guests) and undertakes, in the event of damage to the premises made available, to bear the costs of restoring these premises.

ARTICLE 16: RECOMMENDATIONS

The customer is responsible for ensuring that participants do not disrupt the Château d’Augerville’s operations or endanger the safety of the establishment or the people in it.

The customer may not bring in any outside drinks or foodstuffs without the approval of the Château d’Augerville.

ARTICLE 17: FORCE MAJEURE

The obligations contained herein will not be applicable or will be suspended if their execution has become impossible due to a case of force majeure such as: act of public authority, hostilities, war, natural disaster, fire, flood, strike, acts of terrorism…

Each party must inform the other as soon as possible in the event of a force majeure event preventing it from performing all or part of its contractual obligations.

The parties shall use their best efforts to prevent or reduce the effects of non-performance of the contract caused by an event of force majeure; the party wishing to invoke an event of force majeure shall immediately notify the other party of the beginning and end of such event, failing which it shall not be relieved of its liability.

ARTICLE 18: CLAIMS AND DISPUTES

The Contract and these General Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.

ANY DISPUTE THAT MAY ARISE BETWEEN THE PARTIES CONCERNING THE FORMATION, PERFORMANCE OR INTERPRETATION OF THE CONTRACT AND THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SHALL, IN THE ABSENCE OF AMICABLE AGREEMENT, BE SUBJECT TO THE EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION OF THE COURTS OF THE LOCATION OF CHÂTEAU D’AUGERVILLE.

ARTICLE 19: Mediation

The customer has a mediation channel at his disposal, in the following case: after having referred the matter to the sales department and in the absence of a satisfactory response or in the absence of a response within 60 days, the customer may refer the matter free of charge to the Tourism and Travel Mediator, whose contact details and referral procedures are available on the website: www.mtv.travel.
